The Contract to Make America Great Again: The Key to Unifying the Party and the Country!

"Tom Ballantyne's Contract is the textbook definition of 'timely.' If read by the right people in the immediate future and acted upon, its ample strategic wisdom could save the American people from a forced march down the road to serfdom. Precise, pithy, and to the point, Ballantyne wastes no words to make his common sense case as loud and clear as Tom Paine's or Paul Revere's."Jack Cashill, Author of TWA 800, Scarlet Letters, Deconstructing Obama http://www.cashill.com/“Tom Ballantyne does it again. His clear voice provides a policy and political path forward for Conservatives adrift in the Obama wilderness. Today is a time for unity. Unity of purpose and action on an agenda which works is the gift Ballantyne gives in The Contract.”Floyd Brown – Chairman, Western Center for Journalism (Joseph Farah, Founder), Founder of Citizens United, and President of Excellentia, Inc.In 1994 the Republicans won a landslide victory by picking up 53 seats in the House, and 7 in the Senate. Not a single Republican was defeated, while 37 Democrats were denied re-election, giving the Republicans control of Congress for the first time in 40 years. The means for this stunning and historic turn-around was a document called The Contract with America, signed by every Republican member of the House. The author and creator of this brilliant and unprecedented charter was a brash young History Professor-turned-Congressman from Georgia, Newton Leroy Gingrich, also known simply as "Newt." He had first come to Congress in 1979, and ten years later had become the Minority Whip - which position he held for six years prior to the writing of the Contract with GOP Minority Leader Dick Armey of Texas. As a result of their historic victory, Gingrich became the 50th Speaker of the House, and Armey became its Majority Leader. The resulting wave of legislation, ten bills passed by the House in the first 100 days of the 104th Congress, became known as the Gingrich Revolution, and was no less significant than that started by Ronald Reagan twelve years earlier. With the emergence of the first self-funded presidential candidate since Ross Perot in 1992 and Steve Forbes in 1996, in the person of Donald J. Trump – the most popular GOP candidate in the history of the Party, receiving more primary votes than even Ronald Wilson Reagan – it is time to dust off the unification playbook, and to resurrect the political career of the man who wrote it. It is time to unite the Republican Party – in both houses of Congress, along with the White House – and board the train to our nation’s capital. This book lays out the simple and proven plan for making this happen! It is unlikely that we will ever again see such an able Conductor and Strategist as Donald Trump; or as capable an Engineer and Tactician as Newt Gingrich, poised to lead the charge. All that remains is for the two to board the train together, and to challenge all who wish to help lead the Revolution, to join them. The Contract To Make America Great Again could be the ticket.Read this book and become a part of the Trump Revolution!“Tom Ballantyne may not be clairvoyant, but he’s pretty much the next best thing. In his amazingly timely new book, 'The Contract––To Make America Great Again,' he suggests that the history-altering 'Contract with America' - created by GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich in 1994 - be resurrected for the modern age, in light of the presidential candidacy of brash billionaire businessman Donald Trump and his audacious promise to 'make America great again.' The author succeeds in making a slam-dunk case for Trump creating another trailblazing contract with the help of its original creator and cheerleader, Gingrich. It remains to be seen if the candidate reads Ballantyne’s book, follows his advice, and sweeps into office with a thunderous majority.”Joan Swirsky is a NY-based journalist and author and former writer for the NY Times [Long Island section]. www.joanswirsky.com
