This sweet board book celebrates all the flavors of diversity and teaches us that being kind to one another is what truly matters.

In this board book, beautiful cookies are gathered on a plate, showing off their decorations:

The sugars dazzle, sparkle, and shine.
The colorful macaroons have edges so fine.
Chocolate chips are warm and gooey.
Oatmeal raisins are very chewy.

But one of the cookies is not like the rest... Plain butter cookie lacks frosting frills, and the others don't think he's special. Soon this simple cookie finds his voice and convinces the others that he, too, deserves to be treated with care. In the end, the group realizes that they are each more than their batters, and that it's kindness that truly matters!

This sturdy board book features rhyming text and colorful art from a New York Times bestselling illustrator. Full of humor and heart, it's a perfect gift for toddlers, and a great spark for discussions about diversity and inclusion.
