Beschreibung:

This Book is in Good Condition. Clean Copy With Light Amount of Wear. 100% Guaranteed. Summary: People say that recipes are not really invented, they are created out of necessity. The same thing could be said about this book. As a mushroom picker, aficionado, and basically the kind of person that has a collection of rare mushroom books on display and a variety of dried mushrooms stashed around his kitchen year round, I am often confused by The People Who Don't Like Mushrooms or T.P.W.D.L.M. This book has been written to convert them maybe not into full blown mycophiles, but at least, into People Who Like Some Wild Mushrooms. This book was compiled by a mycologist, a photographer, a cook, and a baby. Cooking Wild Mushrooms for People Who Don't Like Mushrooms has a variety of information about foraging wild mushrooms, various preparation and cooking techniques, as well as over 25 delicious recipes that will be sure to delight the taste buds of those you are cooking for. The recipes include step-by-step instructions and colorful photographs that will be sure to get you excited. Buchnummer des Verkäufers ABE_book_usedgood_1497326680

Über den Autor: Tim Leavitt: Mycologist, Photographer, Cook. Tim has been picking mushrooms in Western North America for most of his life. Tim studied taxonomy with David Hosford at Central Washington University and studied cultivation with Paul Stamets. Tim has worked as a mushroom cultivator, mushroom landscaper, and a mycologist involved with the creation of Environmental Impact Statements for the U.S.F.S. He has lectured fourth grade classes, university classes and at P.S.M.S meetings. Tim and his daughter Edith have more secret mushroom spots than most pickers have spots. Brandon Binger: Photographer. Mushroom Picker. Cook. Brandon has been hiking and collecting mushrooms in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains for much of his life. He helped collect and photograph most of the mushrooms in this book and he makes a mean Chanterelle Cream soup. Joseph Moorman: Cook. Photographer. South African raised Joe Moorman has a passion for cooking and photography, he loves the outdoors and mushroom hunting. While working on this book, we sent him down weekly shipments of our findings. These mushrooms were then prepared to artistic culinary perfection and the recipes were submitted for this book. Follow more of Joe?s cooking on his blog, Moormansmenu.com.
