Thirty-five pages (Introduction, Cross Sections, Regional Geology, Summary and Conclusions, References) followed by nearly 600 pages of Appendices A-I as follows. A: List of Wells, B: Well Data Summaries, C: Paleontological Data, D: Time-Depth Charts, E: Seismic Processing Information, F: List of Cross Sections, G: Well Location-Seismic Index Maps, H: Common and Scientific Names of Paleontological Markers, and I: Regional Maps. The text is illustrated with Figures and Tables, with Figure 4 (Index map of cross sections) in a pocket inside the rear cover. Included in an accompanying slipcase is an incomplete collection of large, folded Geophysical Cross Sections and related plates (also incomplete) housed in the publisher's slipcase. The contents in this slipcase are Geophysical Cross Section Texas-Louisiana Line Numbers 2, 3 (Plates 2, 3, and 4 of 4), 4 (Plate 2 of 2), 5 (Plates 2 and 3 of 3), 6 (Plate 2 of 2), 7 (Plates 2 and 3 of 3), 8 (no plates), 9 (Plates 2 and 3 of 3), 10 (Plate 2 of 2), 11 (Plates 2 and 3 of 3), 12 (no plates), 13 (Plates 2 and 3 of 3), 14 (Plate 2 of 2), 16 (no plates), 18 (Plate 2 of 2), 20 (Plate 2 of 2), 22 (no plates), and 24 (Plate 2 of 2). From the book's Abstract: "This work establishes a regional stratigraphic correlation grid that includes all the major productive intervals. The grid is based on electric logs, seismic record sections, and paleontological data. Twenty-six stratigraphic horizons are identified and regionally correlated. The total data base for this effort includes well logs for over 1,500 wells, paleontological reports for over 1,000 wells, and over 12,000 line miles of seismic data. From this data base, 247 well data summaries, 183 paleontological reports, 142 time-depth surveys, and 2,000 line miles of seismic data are included in this publication." Large, heavy set that will require extra postage for expedited and international delivery. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 10647
