Solid hardcover in illustrated red cloth with lightly rubbed tips, spine ends a bit more. Has one small ink written: 'Kuehn School Dist. 49' on fep. No library card pocket or evidence of ever having had one, no call tags on spine of book. One outlined image of Crazy Quilt on 1st page, 2 underlined words on following page are the only markings found in the 86 p. text.
