"Creaking Shelves Books" has been selling (and buying!) books online since 1999. A home based business now moved to Spean Bridge,10 miles from near Fort William, beneath Ben Nevis, I have a small stock of about 2500 books for sale on line - from £2 to £1500. Special interests are Mountaineering, Scottish Local History, Geology, Natural History and British Topography and rare quirky items. I aim to offer a fast and efficient service - and prefer payment, please by cheque or paypal, or through the ABE website. Postage always charged at cost - and estimated for a book weighing 750-1000gms. Significant over or under estimates of postage will be adjusted.All books returnable (at my expense if inaccurately described) within 7 days. Whenever possible and when appropriate I recycle packing materials. If you are uncertain about this please get in touch. To reiterate, Postal charges are indicative and may be increased or reduced according to actual cost of postage. Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, I will contact you to let you know extra shipping is required; conversly I will reduce charges if possible.
