Second title page states first part is the Third Edition and second part is the Fourth Edition. [6], 40, [7], 272, [34], 292, [24], 26, [2] p. 30 cm. Two title page vignettes. Full leather. Black and red lettering on title pages. From our As Is shelf. Front board detached, spine ends chipped, spine label missing, corners worn. Front free endpaper missing, small ink marks on front pastedown and title page, chipped and worn title page top. Red wax mark on p. 36 and some other small spots. A few ink marks to margins such as on one index page which also has a chipped bottom. Most interestingly, pp. 203-206 after second title page are handwritten replacements with a small paper inserted on which to finish p. 206. First title continues: "Or, Philologicall and Theologicall Observations Upon All the Greek Words of the New Testament, In order Alphabetical; Wherein usually the Etymon of the word is given, its Force and Emphasis observed, and the severall acceptions of it in Scripture, and the Version by Expositours are set down." Second part's title continues: "In two Parts: The First containing Observations on all the Radices or Primitive Hebrew Words of the Old Testament, In order Alphabetical. Wherein both they (and many Derivatives also issuing from them) are fully opened out of the best Lexicographers and Scholiasts.The Second Philological and Theological Observations upon All the Greek Words of the New Testament, In order Alphabetical. Wherein usually the Etymon of the Word is given, its force and Emphasis observed, and the several acceptions of it in Scripture, and the Versions by Expositors are set down."
