This is a story of ascension. This is a story of decline. This is a story that celebrates, derides, fulfills and annoys, about a woman as she learns to live with men, with children, and ultimately, with herself. Delve into the sexual education of Eva, an ordinary woman in the process of remaking her world. Interspersed with her experience of the first act of a play, an omniscient narrator presents, with humor and sympathy, a kaleidoscope of Eva’s memories and speculations, of filed-away facts and subconscious truths. Past, present and future collide on these pages, leaving the reader with an act that can only be understood within the context of the chaos in Eva’s soul.
