In a charming full calf binding. No halt title. In a full calf binding with five raised bands, intricate gilt tooling to the spine and gilt to the extremities of the boards, marbled endpapers and edges. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear and a minor rubbing to the joints, a minor mark to the rear board. Small bookseller sticker to the front pastedown. Previous owner's gift inscription to the recto front blank page, dated 1867. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to the first few leaves and the odd page, although, generally, the pages are very clean throughout. Illustrated with a frontispiece and folding table, with a minor marginal tear.
