May (Broadway, Virginia), 6 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches tall pale blue faux leather hardcover, no dust jacket (as issued), black design and lettering to front cover, illustrated with black-and-white photographs, index, 289 pp. Very slight soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers, with minor bumping to lower tips. Slight shadow to two pages in the index, where a handwritten receipt for the book was laid in (1979). Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce genealogy. ~BBB~ [2.0P/d2] Looks at the ancestry of, and traces the known descendants of, James Turner III (1810-1860) and his wife, Margaret (Fulk) Turner, who raised their ten children in the Brocks Gap area of Rockingham County, Virginia. Although he had several brothers and sisters, only James III's descendants are listed in this compilation of Turner family data. Descendants of James and Margaret have spread into many parts of the United States.
