The true first photoplay edition of this horror-themed novel by Stevenson. An uncommon photoplay. Illustrated with seven scenes from the film. Bound in original dark blue cloth with red lettering on spine and blue lettering with red background on the front cover. A VG+ copy in like D/W with slight loss at the head of the spine not affecting the lettering. This copy features the signatures of Rouben Mamoulian, Frederic March, Rose Hobart and Miriam Hopkins (which have been pasted neatly on separate cards onto the front free end-paper. A Unique copy.
