Brown wrapper has light soiling. String-binding holding well. A small primer with the alphabet, phonetics, and Roman numerals, all in the Dakota language. Publications from the Santee Normal Training School Press were type set and printed by students. This copy also contains a four page tipped in price-list of other Santee publications. We've never handled a copy with this additional material. Stephen Return Riggs was a 19th century missionary who worked with the Dakota Sioux and translated and wrote many texts in Dakota.
