Beschreibung
A collection of three devotional works bound in one, by Salomon Gessner, William Craig, and John Bunyan, illustrated with beautiful frontispieces. Threevolumes in one.'The Death of Abel' is the second edition of this work, published in 1788. However this does not appear to be a true second edition, as the first English edition translated by Mrs. Collier was published in 1761, and, as seen on ESTC, there were many editions published between the first in 1761, and this edition in 1788. The work is, however, the second edition published by M. Brown in Newcastle, who publishedtheir first edition of the work in 1787. ESTC citation numberT201289. This is a scarce edition. Collated, complete.'The Life of Jesus Christ' was published in 1788. This is a very scarce work, with no records of it on ESTC or on Jisc.'The Holy War' was published in 1787.
