Book condition is Poor with severe darkening of textblock, foxing throughout pages, the corner of pg 363 is torn off but corner has been left in book. Severe scuffing along top/bottom edges of panels and head/tail of spine. Brown panels with faded gold lettering on spine. Waterstains on front/back panels. Cloth has been torn back on bottom corner of back panel. Front hinge is cracked. Front pastedown endpaper has previous owner's name in graphite, but scratched out. Interesting remnant of another older name and date (July 31st 1848) written on front loose endpaper, whether ink or graphite it has faded into a brown stain.
