Charissa served as a United Methodist Pastor in congregational ministry for over 6½ years. Charissa is now an ordained deacon of the United Methodist Church as well as a professional artist. She integrates these two passions into the work of Grace Works Studio. Charissa uses art as a means of grace and engages art in Bible studies, retreat settings, devotionals, contemplative worship, and as a way to reach at risk communities. Through art, Charissa facilitates a unique way to connect with God, with self, and with others. Charissa now serves as the founder and director of Grace Works Studio, LLC. Raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Charissa now lives in Neptune Beach with her husband, Chris and their two dogs, Jessie and Molly.
