Sommers (Millersburg, Ohio), 6 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches tall red faux leather hardcover, no dust jacket (as issued), gilt design and lettering to front cover and spine, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs and facsimiles, genealogical tables, index, v, 378 pp. Very slight rubbing to covers, with very minor bumping to lower tips and a smudge to the lower rear cover where it appears a label was removed. Prior owner name (family member) to top margin of blank front free-endpaper. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce genealogy and family history. Miller, son of Shem Miller (1820-1899), and Anna Miller (1820-1899). Joseph S. Miller was born in 1854 in Holmes County, Ohio. He married Fannie Hochstetler, daughter of Henry Hochstetler (1829-1911) and Anna Hershberger (1831-1892), in 1873. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
