Recently re cased in th full tree calf binding the original spine relayed. The binding tight with no splits or chips.The label notes "Description of Three Hundred Animals Bewicks Cuts" although not attributed to Bewick in the book the woodcuts are very much in his style. Hugo, Bewick collector (supplement) 4240 "posses some of the original blocks and imagine them to be byThomas Bewick. Most of them are certainly not by him and perhaps none are".
