Condition Report Externally Spine fair condition white cloth spine with black title on paper label, worn top and tail, tanned and creased. Joints fair condition rubbed and worn. Corners fair condition bumped and worn with some minor loss. Boards fair condition grey card boards, the paper of the upper board has started to come away along the bottom edge of the rear board, general signs of wear. Page edges fair condition all darkened, tanned and foxed. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition intact. Paste downs fair condition plain, tanned and foxed. End papers fair condition plain tanned and foxed, the front end paper has a previous owner s signature dated April 1817. Title fair condition there are 4 separate title pages, all of which are tanned and foxed.
