2 parti in un volume in 8 (cm 15,5 x 21), carte (31) + 501 (i.e. 503) + (2 bianche) + 69 (i.e. 96). MANCANO LE SEGUENTI CARTE: il frontespizio iniziale, che e' stato sostituito da un foglio con titolo manoscritto peraltro non corrispondente esattamente all'originale. Su questo frontespizio posticcio la data di stampa e' indicata come 1576 (ma si tratta in realta' dell'edizione 1577); la carta quarta con le poesie 'Ai lettori' di Giovanni Filoteo Achillino e 'In lode all'Italia' di Modesta Zopo; mancano inoltre 3 delle 4 carte dell'indice della seconda parte. La sola prima carta dell'indice della seconda parte e' inframmezzata ai fogli con l'indice della prima parte. Le prime 8 carte con l'indice della prima parteÂs'interrompono con l'interpolazione della prima carta dell'indice della seconda parte che ha per titolo "Tavola di tutte le cose piu' notabili contenute nella descrittione dell'Isole pertinenti all'Italia", seguono poi le 20 carte con la restante parte dell'indice della prima parteÂche e' pertantoÂcompleto. Vari errori di numerazione delle pagine. Legatura ottocentesca in mezza pelle. La seconda parte e' preceduta da frontespizio autonomo recante la data di stampa 1576.
