Nicely illustrated antique copy of "THE DESERTED VILLAGE" by Oliver Goldsmith. 1899; E.P. Dutton & Co.; New York. This edition features full-page illustrated plates by H.L. Richardson (each with a tissue guard). Gilt top page edges. Condition: Small stains to the covers; approximately 3/4 of the front cover is tanned; sharp corners. There is a crack at the center of the book between pages 30 & 31. There is a thin, 2" reddish stain line at the top edge of the back cover.
