Beschreibung
A wonderful copy of Donnelly's work positing that Atlantis had met its fate as a result of Earth's near miss with a passing comet. Typical of his fringe science books which greatly influenced similar writers in the following century, especially the likes of Velikovsky and von Daniken. This is the second edition (1974) of this version, and the follow up to his famous 'Atlantis: The Antediluvian World'. Pages (rarely for this edition) are excellent: no inscriptions, no marking and no stamps or stickers. No foxing or tanning. Boards are clean and gilt and white colours are as bright as ever. The most minor of corner crumpling, and a couple of small white marks on rear. Binding is tight. Profusely illustrated by Steiner expert Paul Marshall Allen. Adverts at back for other Steiner-related books. See photos, all of which are of the copy for sale, we don't use stock photos. More photos always available on request, many thanks.
