A description by George Rickaby of visits to the Yorkshire sea bird cliffs over the years 1925 & 1933 to 1941, for the purpose of selecting particular varieties of guillemot and razorbill eggs from those taken by the local climmers . Also included as an appendix is a copy of Sam Leng s booklet Experiences and Reminiscences of a Cliff-Climber published in 1931. Sam Leng was the last of the Bempton sea bird egg collectors.
