This work is separated into two volumes, with the first being an 'epitome' or summary of the the main 'Dictionary of National Biography' and it supplement from 'the beginnings to 1900', whilst volume II is a summary of the 'Twentieth Century DNB' from 1901 to 1950. Both volumes are in the uniform publisher's original cloth binding. In the publisher's original cloth binding with gilt detail to spine. Externally, slight rubbing to joints, volume I. Slight spotting to front board volume I. Minor shelfwear to extremities. Slight fading to spine, volume I. Internally firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean throughout.
