Contributions from the Museum of the American Indian Heye Foundation Volume V, No. 2. Green paper wrappers with black lettering on cover. Slight chipping and creasing to edges; very minor scratching. Binding is tight. Dampstaining to text block, leaving half-inch tidemark on bottom edge of all pages and a quarter-inch tidemark on top fore-edge corner of last 20 pages. Many pages remain uncut. Includes five plates with black-and-white photos as well as 13 figures with the text. The Kumeyaay, also known by the historical Spanish name "Diegueño," are an indigenous people from the region that is now southern California and northern Mexico.
