A handsome copy of Charles Thomas Samuel Birch-Reynardson's 'Down The Road', in very attractive decorative binding. With the full title 'Down The Road' or 'Reminiscences of a Gentleman Coachman', the work deals with the history and practice of coaching, and contains twelve very attractive colour plates, collated complete, as well as an additional decorative title page. In decorative cloth binding with gilt detailing. Externally smart, there is some very minor wear to the extremities, joints and backstrip, with some light markings and strain to hinges. Internally, generally firmly bound, though there is some tenderness in areas, and the frontispiece and decorative title page are detached but present. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed.
