This is a beautiful volume in green/blue cloth boards with gilt lettering and depiction of a coach in full cry on the cover. Inner hinge is cracked. The interior is clean and unmarked and there are various tissue protected illustrations. A previous owner's signature dated 1930 and probably his pencilled annotations throughout. Plus a three page account - An 'Explanation of Shouldering' has been inserted on p48 and tied in with cotton, written in copperplate 'for the edification of those who were never on a coach.'
