CHAPTER 1

Late at night after my heart's gone to sleep
memories of you take over my sleep
I still remember everything vividly and clear
your gorgeous eyes touched my heart
holding your hand always put a smile through my heart
kissing you always put me through the stars
everything we did slowly stitched our hearts
Even though now nothing's here and everything's gone
the only memory left so clear
are the stitches slowing dissolving from inside my heart


On a single wish,
I would wish
just for one more kiss
just to go back
and hold your hand
To go back and sit
and hear at least a whisper
how I can't but help
what little things I miss the most
the simplest things one could think of
I'd close my eyes and dream of ...
on every shooting star
even on every last birthday candle-stick.


I hid a sweetness in my brain
I wrote a fairy-tale story
while asleep and in my dreams
It started out with me and my heart
and ended with you mesmerized to my heart
it's a sweetness no one would believe
a secret only our hearts will carry on forever


I wish you were here
more than ever
You changed me
and made me better
So for that
I will love you forever
We always cleaned away the tears
And always walked together through all the fears
Eventually our hearts just went up in flames
with memories of you burning through my flesh & veins
leaving memories in the first degree scarred all over inside of me


I miss you with a passion
I think about how we both used to care
Please don't expect me to just forget
the true moments we together once shared
and think about all the times we will never share
To a lot of people it's the weirdest thing of all
that I still think about the love we used to have
and the valuable lessons that I've learned
and your smile I could just never forget
next to God it's greatest thing of all
we can't just turn around and start all over
but I do believe our hearts will be in love forever


I think of life as something I
can only spend with you
but from now until forever
you'll live forever in me wherever
and when the mirror tells me I'm older
I'll remember back the beauty of our hearts
as our lifetimes were sent two separate ways
our futures went in two separate ways
never meant my love for you went a separate way
and when I tell the story of you
can no one never tell me you were never real
because on the inside your still unbelievably real
and always special to me despite the games we wage


My mornings pass by slow
my heart changes speed and pace
Cool mornings much like this
take me back to the first time we met
I fell in love when our eyes first met
at the intersection of the hall
and just felt that I knew ...
what our hearts could predict and feel
the most amazing person to ever love stood there before me
and there I found the most difficult task for two
to try to stitch together the hearts of two
your eyes alone were defining the definition of love alone
seeing your smile makes it feel like I'm spinning around in circles in
the heavens above
but understand why God broke it in two
but I promise I'll never forget it was you ...


All I can do is think how you held my hand
and told me you'd be here from the start
and that no matter what happens
you'd always be the other half of my heart
You promised to be my every shooting star
now all you are, are the aces and pains
distilled inside my heart
things will never be right
the tears you've caused me at night
may be long before they dry
there something about you that stains forever ...
it was your eyes glowing brighter than Venus
combined with your smile makes me cry for you forever.


The tears that I've wasted
the pain that I've tasted
can you imagine what it's like
waking up in the morning
just knowing half of your heart will always be missing?
to just know that there will always be
that one certain star at night missing ...


I turn my head and begin to cry
I can't lie, I hold a broken heart
wish we could forget everything that made our relationship die
but I thank God for bringing our love to life
you gave me a new meaning and brought me full of light
before you I was empty inside
without you I'm still empty inside
but you're still here with me by my side
you were truly the rebirth of my heart
letting the last tear go is the hardest thing
I will ever have to do.

what it was saying
so I could ask so many questions
why on every rainy day, my eyes start raining?
Why the pain just starts pouring?
All the memories become crystal clear and pure
I hear your voice echoing inside my ears

how to start to explain
what I miss the most
It's a soft and gentle feeling

I watched as our love grew stronger
And just like that God stopped it all and it was over.


I didn't know what to think
when I first set eyes on you
it was as if my heart
had already been yours
It was my heart telling my mind
you were the one for me
sent straight from the heavens for me
Started out with a smile from each of us
and ended with a life time of nightmares
I'll always remember when we were in high school together
and said we were the ones forever


Every day I'm still thinking of you
as long as my heart beats how could I stop thinking of you
no matter the distance
it would never make our hearts far in distance
our hearts are set to cruise control together we go
don't mistake the tears for the reason we hear a breeze
destiny has a reason why we split in two


I fell in love with you
for everything you did for me
when were not together
my thoughts drift alongside memories of you
I still catch myself daydreaming
wishing that we still were
but both our hearts will never forget
the days it used to be you and I
side by side, hand in hand
now it's just a question
of how much longer until the day will come,
I will see your glamour's smile?
until the night will come,
I fall asleep with the moon reflecting from your smile?


I want you to know
there have been many times in our lives
when we have seemed to be in two different worlds
but I love you more than the words
the alphabet A through Z
can put together and make
I still wouldn't go back and wish for someone else
because there's that certain something that makes you the one so
special
just the way you showed you cared
you were a wonderful gift sent to me here by God
and like so many blessings we all receive
we sometimes forget to be thankful for every blessing.


I would have given you everything from my heart
to everything in-between
now nothing flies
and the only thing I remember are the same thoughts we once used to
share
