Set number 16 of twenty-six sets. Each set consists of a slipcase with five 8vo hardcovers, three of which are limited, signed editions. Also included is a four-page paper summary of the contents. The following books are in this set: 1) Henry Miller: A Personal Archive; 2) Henry Miller: A Book of Tributes, 1931-1994; and 3-5) three editions of Writers Three: A Literary Exchange. The Like New 1994 Personal Archive hardcover (xii + 316 pp. + a rear limitation page) is copy 45 of 100 hardcover editions that includes in a rear pocket a promotional piece written and published by Henry Miller that was removed from his desk. The enclosure is certified as being authentic by the signatures of his children Tony and Valentine Miller. Grey paper-covered boards with a cover image of Henry Miller at his typewriter. Third-bound in black cloth with silver spine lettering. This book is in a slightly undersized acetate dust cover that has a chip in the rear. "A Personal Archive" is a catalog of manuscripts, letters, photographs, memorabilia, awards, correspondence, journals, booklets, ephemera, legal documents, furniture and other miscellane4ous items. The 1994 Near Fine hardcover Book of Tributes (xxxviii + 677 pp. + a two-page limitation page) is copy 97 of 100 Limited Editions (ISBN 0964141515) signed on the second of the limitations pages by compiler and publisher Craig Peter Standish. As new contents including an Angels And Patron Saints card stock page but without "Greetings from Devachan" a holographic preface by Henry Miller or a laid-in color photograph of Henry Miller. Blue cloth covers with gilt lettering on the spine and upper board. Lightly bumped in the spine tail but otherwise Fine. The Like New 1995 black cloth-covered hardcover of Writers Three (180 pp + [9 publisher pages + 1 limitation page]) is copy 62 of 100 American Limited Edition copies published by Roger Jackson and numbered, signed and dated by Deborah Benson. This edition also includes in a rear pocket Benson's essay "Meeting Henry Miller" As new contents but with grey rather than decorative end-papers. As new black cloth covers with gilt lettering on the spine and upper board. "Writers Three: A Literary Exchange" is on the works of Claude Houghton with Henry Miller, Claude Houghton and Ben Abramson. The other two copies of Writers Three are aside from the color of the covers uniform in appearance with the black copy. They are also New and sealed in shrink wrap. The hardcover with green cloth covers is one of 250 European Limited Editions published by Alyscamps Press. The hardcover with brown cloth covers is one of 650 American Trade Editions published by Roger Jackson. No dust jackets for any of these hardcovers except as noted above. No separate portfolio or paper copy of "A Divine Intoxication" by Ben Abramson. The books are in a sturdy black slipcase covered in burlap and a paper wrapper featuring black and white facsimiles of the dust wrappers of Henry Miller's books. The paper wrapper is in a clear plastic cover.
