[About the photographer] Wolf Nikolas was born in 1939 and worked for many years as a scientist. In 1969 he began traveling extensively and stayed a long time in Asia, especially India. He has been practicing the art of photography since the age of 15. Whereas, at first, he took landscape photographs, he now mostly concentrates on portraits.
