The text block and illustrations are in fine condition, with no marks, tears, or dog-ears. Not a library book nor a remainder. No bookplate nor signature of a prior owner. Very good binding. The illustrated wraps are in very good condition (slight bump in lower left-hand and lower right-hand corners). 10 ½ x 8 ½, 73 pages, 15 ounces. [About the photographer] Wolf Nikolas was born in 1939 and worked for many years as a scientist. In 1969 he began traveling extensively and stayed a long time in Asia, especially India. He has been practicing the art of photography since the age of 15. Whereas, at first, he took landscape photographs, he now mostly concentrates on portraits.
