Blue cloth boards with black and red lettering and a paste-down image of the big-eared baby elephant on the front. Colourful endpapers and a coloured, or black and white, image on every page. Condition: Very Good. There's a short tear at the base of the spine. The covers are generally a little rubbed. Some white paper, perhaps from the dust jacket (not present) is stuck to both front and back boards in places. The paste-down is a bit scratched and slightly damaged at the edges. There is a crack in the hinge but the binding remains secure. The pages are tanned but in the main clean. A gift inscription, written in ink, is on the first endpaper.
