Illustrated. 24 pages. An unlisted club handbook for this tenacious east coast Scottish golf club. Sadly, over the years Dunbar has had its course encroached by the mining operation adjoining the course. This has required several of the holes originally designed by Old Tom Morris to be abandoned; new holes designed and constructed by Willie Park, Jr. While one regrets the loss of those original holes, the course plays as difficult, if not more difficult, because of the changes. As with many links, when the wind is up several par fours play like par fives. Excellent hole-by-hole description with many photographs and line drawings including a centerfold course plan.
