Compact, well used, brown cloth hardback book with black blocked titles on both the front board and spine. This wonderful book is in fair to good condition, you will see from the photos that the brown cloth, covering the boards, is worn and torn and corners rubbed, however inside all 466 pages, plus period advertising pages are all intact, reasonably tight binding. Normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Pen and ink signature dated Nov: 1908, on the first blank page. No published date in the book and it looks like an early twentieth century period book and I have stated a published date of 1908 only on the premise of the signature date on the first blank page. Its the thirteenth edition. The back advertising pages are fascinating, just seeing how each company promoted themselves, in that period of time, is so interesting.
