In the 17th April Issue 2021 of The Antiques Trade Gazette (issue No. 2488), there was a report of the sale of a 120 pp manuscript Maths "Copy Book", dated 1686. This by a Sarah North. With an estimate of £1,000 - £1,500, it achieved a remarkable £35,000 (image 1). We offer here something similar, but much earlier, larger, and with the important signed provenance of "Thomas Blackmore, His Booke" (Image 2. Top Right corner). This being the West Country Blackmore Family of Lorna Doone fame, by direct descent and local to us. We describe the volume as follows: 1.
