Second UK edition. First published in the UK by Hamish Hamilton in 1934. Originally published in hard covers by Harper in the US in 1934. The boards have a little discolouration to the spine and a few other light surface marks. Scattered large brown spots with these bleeding onto the pages around the edges. The pages are otherwise clean and unmarked however. The price-clipped jacket has two small closed tears to the top edge of the front panel and a half inch closed tear to the bottom edge with these surrounded by associated creasing. There is a one inch closed tear at the base of the spine. The rear panel has a half inch tear to the bottom edge in the centre with a small amount of loss. The front flap has a brown mark to the bottom left corner where there is also a one inch closed tear. Other overseas orders: shipping costs are based on books weighing 800g. I will generally use whatever method is covered by the standard postage charge but if you specifically wish to have it sent surface or airmail or anything else please ask and I will amend the charge accordingly. Please only choose the cheaper surface mail option if you do not mind waiting - the suggested upper time limit for this form of delivery is 60 days and it can take that long - and sometimes a bit longer. If therefore you wish to receive the book in 2-3 weeks then please opt for the more expensive postage option which will guarantee airmail delivery. Books are usually wrapped in bubblewrap and then in cardboard. Please ask if you have any particular requirements.
