A vintage catalog describing the electrical instruments for sale from GE in the early 1930s. Softcover with red paper wraps, silver lettering on the front cover and spine. Binding is stapled and glued with two holes punched through the left edge of the text block. 182 pages. Illustrated throughout in black & white. Also with descriptions and tables of product specifications. This catalog is in very good condition, with a square, sturdy binding and no loose pages. The spine shows some chipping and small tears, as do the corners and edges of the volume. Wear from rubbing is visible on the wraps, as well, and some snags to the paper on the back cover. F.J. Leerburger is written in ink and Property of Maurice R. Scharff are stamped on the front cover; other markings on the wraps are ex-library, including a label with the call number, a reference number written in ink, and Catalogue Library and Apr 8 1942 stamps. The Maurice Scharff stamp also appears on at least 1 other page in the catalog. With some marks & writing in pencil & blue ink on the title page, as well as a Smithsonian Libraries stamp dated Aug 11 1967. A few pages at the back of the book have a creased corner. An otherwise clean, handsome copy.
