All volumes feature an engraved title page. Elegant Epistles is complete in two volumes, with Elegant Extracts being volume two of the original two. In calf bindings with gilt designs to the spines. Externally, all volumes are rubbed with some wear to the spines. Two boards are detached and the other boards are held by the cords only. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound with some lightly age toned pages. Light instances of spotting and ink marks to the endpapers of one volume. Armorial bookplate to the front pastedown. Fair.
