Printed for Francis Nichols, Philadelphia, 1813, 394 pp, appendix, 32 pp, table, 66 pp, two folding maps, original leather, 9 x 6 , 8vo. In fair condition. Light wear to extremities with minor rubbing to edges and corners. Corners rounded slightly from wear. Small loss at head of spine with slight cracking at top joint. Spine lightly creased. Front gutter repaired poorly with binder s tape. Tender as an result. Old hand ownership on fly. Small holes on the fly from ink staining. Interior lightly toned with scattered foxing, moderate at times. Free of known marginalia. Folding plates in good working order with small tears. Binding tight and intact. Please see photos. Alexander Fraser Tytler, Lord Woodhouselee (1747-1813) was a Scottish advocate, judge, writer and historian who was a Professor of Universal History, and Greek and Roman Antiquities at the University of Edinburgh.
