Water stain on the spine, causing a loss of shine to the maroon cloth on the spine of the book. Maroon cloth covered boards with The Elsie Books design blind stamped on the cover. The front cover is beautiful and glossy with gilt text on the spine, bright and clear. Top corners bumped. Inscription on front endpage, dated Dec. 25, 1929.
