Believed complete in two volumes. No date but given the title, probably 1854-1856. Very heavy books (3.8kg, additional postage request will be made, feel free to enquire in advance for your destination. Contemporary green leather binding with gilt decoration to edges, tooled decoration to boards and gilt lettering and decoration to spines, including two title plates in morocco. Boards heavily rubbed at edges and surfaces and each volume has a gouge to the upper board, that on the second volume penetrating the leather. Some slitting to joints at the head and foot of spines, however boards remain fully attached and tight. Marbled end papers and all page edges.
