Titchmarsh & Goodwin, Ipswich, no date but perhaps within the past couple of decades; four extremely elaborate and luxurious sales catalogues for the firm's bespoke furniture capabilities held in a custom made slip case; 210 x 2180mm, the case finished in maroon cloth gilt and the individual books contained therein each with an appropriate full colour cover of detail from relevant furniture and ranging from 50pp to 138pp each; lavishly and finely illustrated in colour throughout and the whole in exceptionally good, even fine, condition. . The individual titles are: The Age of Walnut, 98pp; The Georgian and Regency Period, 138pp; Karelian Birch, 50pp; English Oak Furniture, 118pp. . The company has roots from the mid-18th century but started specifically in Ipswich in 1920 making bespoke cabinets and clock cases. These four books show many examples of the styles of furniture which can be made for clients but are of wider interest in showing examples of modern fine furniture in traditional styles made by hand and using fine woods. .
