Original early 1920 edition in original design with blue boards and embossed design. 800 illustrations, 1183 pages, by the former chef of Delmonicos. No jacket, book is in surprisingly good condition despite fact it is over 100 years old. Book is solid and square. The pages are in great condition. The boards are bright overall. Some mild rubbing, wear to the board edges; light scuffing. There is consistent age-toning to the pages; minimal reference wear. Book is about as clean and attractive as possible for its age.
