From the collection of the late Sister Benedicta Ward, Oxford. Gold embossed, leatherbound hardcover without dust jacket, in good condition for its age. Two Volumes in one, printed on India Paper. Boards are marked, and worn at the edges and corners, which are also bumped. Fading at the spine, and wear and scuffing to the spine ends. Gold embossed page block head, and page block face and foot are discoloured, as are the pastedowns and endpapers. Gutter break at half-title page. 'Ex Libris Convent of the Incarnation, Fairacres, Oxford' label on front pastedown, and 'The Sisters of The Love of God' label and previous owners name on FEP. Number penned to REP.
