V/slight foxing to page edges, but overall a sound copy. A fascinating book, in which Dunne outlines the 'experiment'; being a close observation of dreams, often his own. These observations appear to prove that the dreamer was often aware of events that occurred in his waking life after he had dreamed about them. The explanation put forward by Dunne is a new conception of the theory of time he calls 'serialism' a kind of infinite series of dimensions and observers. Dunne's theories were highly influential on a number of writers. J B Priestly most notably used his ideas in Time and the Conways and An Inspector Calls and H G Wells, John Buchan and Graham Greene also fell under his spell.
