Inhaltsangabe: For most people who think about such things, Route 66 BEGINS in Chicago and ENDS in Los Angeles. But why did 66 BEGIN in Chicago? And in Chicagoland, why was it placed upon Jackson Boulevard, Adams Street, Ogden Avenue, and Joliet Road? Why did it go on those streets as it made its way out west on that California quest? The answers can be found in Exploring Route 66 in Chicagoland. Travelers can finally learn the history that shaped U.S. 66 in the Windy City area.
