Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Ralf Fücks is founder and managing director of the Center for Liberal Modernity in Berlin, a thinktank and platform for the discourse on renewing liberal democracy. Formerly he has been chairman of the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung for 21 years. Fücks publishes frequently on questions of sustainable development, political strategy, and international relations in national as well as international media. Rainald Manthe, born in 1987, is a sociologist, author and works as head of the program »Liberal Democracy« at the think tank Center for Liberal Modernity. For his PhD, he did research on the transnational meetings of social movements. He writes regularly on questions of democracy development.
