This is one of the publisher's "Fisherman's Choice" series of popular fishing books, combining practical information with enjoyable reading. Mastering a Highland stream such as the Truim is no casual undertaking, and here the author does not disguise its difficulties. Yet the picture which emerges arouses keen enthusiasm, whetting th fisherman's appetite and challenging his skill. This book is the story of how a man can face and outwit the spirited burn. The book is bound in the original green paper covered boards with gold titling on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition with bumping to the spine ends and slight fading to the bottom 3/4" of the4 spine. The contents are tight and clean with a little faint foxing on the endpapers and first and last few pages, including a few faint marks on the title page. The unclipped dustwrapper has shelf wear with some soiling and the edges are rubbed. The spine ends and corners are bumped with small pieces missing from the corner tips and top of the spine. About 3/4" is missing from the bottom of the spine. The edges have some tears of up to about 1" that have been repaired on the reverse with tape. Size: 7.2" Tall.
