A little wear to extremities, darkening of board edge and traces of foxing on preliminaries; otherwise a very good clean copy with all pages uncut. Illustrated throughout by chromolithograph plates, including title. Patterned endpapers. A book of juvenile verse written and beautifully drawn by Walter Crane (1845-1915), the famous artist and book illustrator. Each page contains a short verse about a flower which is illustrated with its human personification.
