THE FOUNDERS' SPEECH TO A NATION IN CRISIS: What the Founders would say to America today. (The Founders' Speech Series)

If the Founding Fathers returned today to deliver a single speech to America, what would they say?

This book is that speech — delivered in their own words.

To make that possible, Steven Rabb spent two years inside thousands of original texts and letters, driven by a single conviction: that the Founders’ words — gathered across ten relevant themes and woven into a speech for this moment — would do what no modern voice can.

And readers love it.

“Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! This book is a shocking experience. It’s very moving.” — Christine P.

In fact, the response has been resounding.

With 100,000+ copies sold and 3,150 FIVE-STAR REVIEWS, The Founders’ Speech to a Nation in Crisis is the #1 National Bestseller on America’s Founding principles.

Readers not only finish it. They share it. And they return to it for hope.

“I studied political science and history in college. This is by far one of the best books I’ve ever read. It is my go-to for inspiration and encouragement if I am blue because of the daily news. Yes, there is hope for America.” — Amazon Reviewer

Behind every heartfelt review is a citizen who opened this book carrying a quiet fear — that the ideals that built this country are being lost, that the America they love is slipping away — and then heard those fears answered in the actual words of the Founding generation — the men and women who resisted tyranny, secured independence, and built this nation.

“My heart has been aching, wondering what our Founding Fathers would think of our country today…then I found this book. I was in tears just in the Prologue! Every American should have and read this book!” — Cynthia H.

The Prologue opens in present-day Independence Hall, where the Founding Fathers gather to write their speech — on what it means to be an American, on property rights and the rule of law in a constitutional republic, and on the courage required of a people who mean to keep it.

As you turn the page, you feel like you are sitting in a church pew, grappling with a mix of angst and sadness and even anger for what has happened to your country. And then the seven Founding Fathers walk onto the stage, and together give a single speech that so captures the moment you are living through, that so points the way forward, that so reminds you of why you love this country, that before you know it you are on your feet, cheering, clapping, and ready to defend the liberty they risked their lives for. And as you look around, you realize that you are not alone.

“To imagine if America’s Founders could come back to speak to us today — in their own words, regarding Liberty, the Rights of Conscience, the Constitution, and what it means to have true Reverence for the Law. Well in reading this you will come to realize that they have come back to us — through this book.” — Chuck Payne, Georgia State Senator

The Tyranny chapter hits hardest. When Madison warns that liberty dies by gradual and silent encroachments, readers recognize the censors and bureaucrats among us today. When Adams describes the cancer of government dependence — how revenue creates pensioners who demand more revenue — readers feel the ache of what has been surrendered: the independent American spirit the Founders gave everything to defend. In that moment, the reader understands what we are fighting against — and what we are fighting for.

“I fought and bled for this nation and the Constitution for nearly 30 years. This book’s message is a final wake-up call to the freedom-loving people of this nation. They are few, but we are many.” — Wayne C.

The Founders saw this moment coming. This book is their message to us.
