Edited exclusively by "A Lady," the magazine set a strict moral tone for the period, discussing the evils of dancing, tobacco, etc. and the virtues of moral purity through articles like "What Course Shall Be Pursued With Young Females Who Have Taken The Wrong First Step!" With the signature and personal bookplate of Dr. Dudley D. Shoenfeld on the front pastedown.
