Eli Miller was born into an Amish community in Ohio, and later moved to Canada in 1972 with his wife Marti to help establish a religious community in Northern British Columbia. Since then, he has lived in various parts of British Columbia, as well as in Arizona. Today, he and Marti are settled in Abbotsford, British Columbia. They have been married over 57 years and have 6 children, 13 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
An ordained minister for over 50 years, Eli hopes his story will illustrate to others that "humble beginnings do not limit personal dreams and opportunities and that they can trust God to equip and provide for them when they are challenged with unfamiliar life circumstances."
